It is traditional to save the top layer of the wedding cake, to be eaten on your first anniversary. Here’s how to store your cake so it still tastes good next year.

Put it in a box
Then 3 plastic bags
Wrap it in aluminum foil
Place in freezer, away from sides to prevent defrosting. (Chest type or upright is recommended)
Enjoy your anniversary cake while you remember your special day
