Policies

Booking Deposits - Wedding Cake

A $100.00 non-refundable deposit required when booking your cake. The balance is due two weeks prior to your event. All payments are non-refundable. Bookings more than 6 months in advance require a mutually agreeable payment plan.

Rental Deposits

A refundable deposit based on the items rented is required on all acrylics, fountains and rental equipment. Your rental deposit will be refunded upon return of all pieces. Rentals are to be returned clean and in
good condition within two days of your event. A fee, starting at $20.00 will be
charged for any items not clean.

Sales Tax of 5.5% is charged on rental items

Late Returns

There will be a late charge of $25.00 per day if any items are returned more than two days past your event.

Delivery Charges - Wedding Cake

Delivery available throughout the state of Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Delivery charge is based on the distance from our bakery.

Mail Order Rental Policy

The purpose of our rental program is to allow bakers & other wedding professionals, who are new to The Knock Shoppe, a
chance to try our products. Complete cake stand sets may be rented for weddings
& other occasions including Bridal Shows. For complete information go to

Booking Desposit - Catering

A non-refundable deposit, initial payment, of $150.00 is required when booking your catering event. The balance  of payment is required 1 week prior to your event.

Table Coverings

We supply everything for the serving tables: table covers, serving utensils, dinner plates, cake plates, plastic ware, napkins and cups. We clear all the tables after the reception. We will set-up and take down tables and chairs for an additional charge.

Catering Policies

  • The guarantee of dinners must be definitely specified 12 days in advance. This number will not be subject to reduction, and charges will be made accordingly.
  • Patron agrees to reimburse the caterer for any extra meals requested for orchestra, entertainers, security, etc
  • A late fee of $10.00 per hour per employee will be charged for serving that begins 30 min. after the scheduled serving time. This fee will appear on the final billing in addition to the quoted prices.
